2017
2017 was a year filled with breakthrough partnerships and a special focus on curating CJF events into packaged series. In addition to regular annual events like Valentine Cabaret and Millbrook Arts Groups Winter Concert Series, CJF presented a series of sold-out winter jazz events for the LUMA Theatre titled French Connection.
New partnerships for 2017 included a two-part concert series for Greenwich Music House’s Uncharted Series and a summer concert series with 23Arts Initiative in its neighboring town of Windham, NY. An exciting new partnership to take place this summer was a premiere three-concert collaboration with Absolutely Live Entertainment for the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, Jazz & Chihuly. These new partnerships and programming opportunities inspired CJF to look towards creating more curated and specially-commissioned productions for world premiere.
