Jazz in the Snow: Les Belles Chansons Françaises

  • Mountain Top Library 6093 Main Street Tannersville, NY, 12485 United States (map)

In preview of this program's debut at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts at Bard College, French vocalist Camille Bertault and Franco-American virtuoso pianist Dan Tepfer join Catskill Jazz Factory at the Mountain Top Library to perform and deliver a short artist talk on the enchanting music of the French Songbook, from Edith Piaf to Jacques Brel to Serge Gainsbourg.

DownBeat calls Bertault “a singer who carefully coaxes the emotional impact out of a melody.” She is accompanied by “riveting and inspired” (New York Times) pianist Tepfer.
